The International BEE (Broadcast Equipment Exhibition) has kicked off today in Tokyo. Sony has introduced a new AVCHD Camera. The all new NXCAM Broadcast Camera will be available early in 2010. Apparently this new camcorder features a 3 x 1/3” Exmor CMOS Sensor with ClearVid array and a 20x Zoom Lens from Sony ‘G’ Series. It is capable of recording in AVCHD up to 24Mbps, producing 1920 x 1080p images as well as 720/50p in MPEG-2 SD format. The new NXCAM will allow recording onto Memory Stick Pro Duo or on an optional 128GB Flash Memory (Hybrid Recording).
